Twin Terror Tales

This and this

Two recent terrorist strikes in civilian places, the first one atrocious one the eve of Id at Ajmer Dargah. As I always say, humans suck.

I havent been to Ajmer (though have had an opportunity). I felt some obligation on my part to educate people about Ajmer Sharif partly to bring out in obstrusive glare this heinous, unpardonable crime. During my stay in Rajasthan, another colleague was assigned that territory and had visited Ajmer. He came back with stories which left us boys amazed. Ajmer is probably the only place in India which has never had communal riots. At the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, Hindus and Muslims both pray together. Its a perfect God is one abode.

Now I am not an evangelist sent to cleanse all ills in this world. If there does exist such a job, its mine gladly. But I certainly believe its karmic philosophy to do one's little bit to make this world a better place for the future generations. Anyways, human life on earth, earth itself will die one day.

Pray, all those who drop by this post reflect for two secs on those who lost their lives. It could have been your loved ones or you yourself!. The convenience of lack of knowledge wether Ludhiana is in east or west India does not unfortunately allow us to treat the truth with nonchalance. Truth is that the only certainty in life is death! Let us all respect it, more than fear it.

My eternal scream: Live but please let live.

I could never understand either how people can carry so much hatred in their hearts in the name of religion.....

I dont think the terrorist attacks in India are driven by communal hatred as much as it is by political reasons.

I was in Bombay during the Babri Masjid riots, and I believe a lot of it was connected to political mileage; rather than common man's hatred for the other religion.

Sadly, these terrorist attacks (train blasts, mosque bombs & burning of houses) are merely "issues" for political parties to talk about during elections to further perpetrate the "us-vs.-them" politics.

Its sad isn't it how violence and constand vigilance seem to be the new mantra.

Radha said it correct mostly..these attackes are not just by some haters..but they are mostly politically driven..anyways...I hope god will bless those souls. Nobody can say more than people in Mumbai when such things happen....such incidents really go unnoticed...but when it comes to Mumbai...hushhhhh!!!!!!
