Haircut!

It had been almost 4 months since I had cut my hair :-) This may well be the longest duration I had let them grow. Last time was in undergrad college, but that was 3 months I guess. I love long hair and if you have seen me, mine is not the boy next door hairstyle which mamma can neatly comb every morning before the school bus. In fact, while growing up as a kid I was famous for two things - how thin he is, what kinda hair is that?. Aunties had sometimes in jocular zing crossed the acceptable limits of teasing, calling it a crow's nest.

So, I felt bad when chop, chop went the barber's scissors on my long locks. I dont really know what made me have a haircut, they hadnt grown objectionably or disproportionately. I had acquired that Farhan Akhtar in Rock On type of look. Though his are curls, mine are straight non kinky types. I liked them. They are gone :-(

Interestingly, I have figured if I want the Arjun Rampal hair look it would take one full year to grow that length. Unfortunately, my profession does not permit rockstar hairstyles. That was one reason why I wanted to head to the US after engineering. To grow my hair loooong. Surprisingly, I had found support in this from my mother!

But I shall rest the case now. With my prominent widow's peak (frontal baldness) those shall remain childhood 'What I want to do when I grow up' memories. Now, bald is in. Havent you seen the Bald and the Beautiful?
