Bajrang Dal
To the farthest that I stretch my memory( mind you.. its extremely elastic ) visages pop up .. me having all guy friends in DPS, attending birthday parties of guys, final year engg project with guys, 2 arid years in Tata Motors with guys, guys and just guys. ( did i miss out sleeping with guys huh..). This innate sense of guy camaraderie has found its take again, in SPJCM, under the apt rubric “Bajrang Dal”.
Bajrang Dal has its origins in three doyens namely Kanishka, yours beastly and Manmeet. The other important posts are shared amongst Saurabh and Nagaraj. The cohort grew rapidly from a modest three to over 15, by calculated coalitions of idealogically aligned parties and some independents as well. Since the other groups did not go about harking any name .. Bajrang Dal stuck.
Now BD is not the atypical run-of-the-mill, shady, rowdy, hair-growing-out-of-ear, stinking armpits kind of masculine assortion. On the contrary, the Bajrangis ( as they call themselves ) are affable, social and maybe even popular among the women folk. Its just that the Bajrangis firmly know which side their bread is buttered on.. he he !!
Recently desperate attempts were made by the faculty to foist seeds of dissension in the ranks by strategically sandwiching three most notorious Bajrangis (names with-held for fear of scandal) between women, but in just two days flat the perpetrators of this heinous crime were forced to eat humble pie.

We are still sandwiched.And Bajrang Dal seems to be getting a notorious name. Time for some crisis and image control??
