What-sin-ations ! !
Both my arms still pain as i write this blog. The amount of needle piercings which my already invisible frame has been subjected to in order to honour the prophylactic urges of my college would certainly humble an amateur tattoo artist.
Prick 1. It all started at Mumbai with a measles vaccine. Thanks to the generosity of my brother i had had a bout of chicken pox when i was a kid, so managed to escape that pricking. But the joy was shortlived. Just before departure to the 'Regi'-stan i get a mail asking to get pricked with Typhoid,Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B
Prick 2. Hepatitis B1. The nurses in Dubai are very good ..errr at their work. This pricking was a bloodless affair.
Prick 3. Blood Test .. from the vein not the finger. It was amazing .... you should have heard the rapidity of the 'Next,Next' call. This was naturally a bloody affair but was thankfully painless.
Prick 4. Typhoid. It is still paining.
Prick 5 Hepatitis A. Now this turned out to be a harrowing experience with a lot of blood loss. But it aint paining as bad as typhoid.
And to say nothing of the fortune i have lost in return :-( wonder why doesnt the law of diminishing marginal utility humour these college punters.
