Sandy
My biggest asset throughout the 25 yrs on my chequered life have been the astounding diversity of people I have known closely. One entry on the list is Sandy.
Sandeep Sinha. I dont exactly recall the first meeting but I can safely assume it must have been something like this. Early morning sitting in Area Office Pune and my eyes fall on a 6 foot stud with long hair. I almost laughed at this guy who was assigned the same dealership in Pune( I was handling the LCV/ICV range and he was newly consigned to 207 ). DAMs at the same dealerships shared a great camaraderie. I was doubtful about Sandy. Over the year I got to know this woman killer guy closely. I have never known a better looking guy than Sandy. His looks are right up there.
During our time together at the dealership I used to listen to him speak. He spoke of his one and only love Modelling and Bollywood. I reasoned with him many times. A middle class electrical engineer from VNIT Nagpur working in Tata Motors and modelling?? But Sandy was adamant.
I quit TML and came to Dubai. After about a year I caught him online and learnt that he had followed his heart. I smiled at him and heaved out a wishful sigh.
Today Sandy has done 8 ramp shows, one print ad and one promotional film. When asked hows life, he replied beaches, babes and beer. Poor fella is broke... lives out of his pocket, travels by buses and locals, dreams of a lucky break. He has learnt acting and dancing though I really cant imagine him do either :-). My bestest wishes to you mate for having the balls to do what you wanna do.
