(I miss)Those saturday afternoons on river's edge. (I miss)Boat Club Quiz Club. (I miss)My illustrious pardner in crime Arka Bhattacharya.(I miss) Me and He.(I miss) Legendary and feared. (I miss)Complete ascendancy during our final yr. (I miss) The admiration by fergie gals and the subsequent tuppence bhaav which we reciprocated. (I miss) Aah .. deeep sigh.
I found some old word file which i feel very proud in promulagating on my dark mouthpiece, a feeling which is otherwise non-existant.
"I and Arka paired up in early September of 2001. My hitherto regular partner Tejas was becoming increasingly disinterested in the quizzes and soon refused to accompany me. As ‘twas ordained.. it was ‘The Ascent Quiz’ organized by The Times of India when I and Arka went together for first time. We didn’t even qualify there … but that evening was just the incipience of a partnership which would ultimately mellow into one of the success stories in the ten years history of Pune Quizzing."
