Mixed Veg of Updates
An assortment of updates albeit lacking required flavours or condiments
1. Drawn deeper into F1 fanhood. Have lately started following Fri practices as well! Great sport to spend time on. Force India doing very well, Chandhok also looking promising. Come 2011, India will host its maiden race at Delhi. Hopeful of attending it.
2. Have been flipping Nat Geo mags from past few months. There was a cover story on Gold which I found quite interesting. Hows this for a fact. "In all of history, only 161,000 tons of gold have been mined, barely enough to fill two Olympic pools. More than half has been extracted in the past 50 yrs"
3. Just did this 'Cities I have visited' on tripadvisor via facebook. Realized my weak footprints in the Hindu heartland MP, Chatisgarh, UP. Surprisingly, Kerala has been covered comprehensively!
4. The markets have become very boring. Havent been checking them. Disinterested in reading market, economy, business related news.

I remember sometime back u had started reading stuff on stock markets...
Even I had read about that gold stuff somewhere..and seen it in a documentary too ..called Money Masters..on federal reserve,fractional banking and gold standard..etc...it was quite interesting.
what's "hindu heartland", pray tell????

@radha: I have abandoned it :-) One particular stock turned out to be a runaway success, currently m 120% up on that, but others are not doing anything great. So I have reversed the thoughts of doing active trading :-) Buy and hold is better suited for me
